Septembre 2024 : KA/NOA fêtait ses 7 ans. On dit souvent que sept ans, c'est l'âge de raison. Bien loin de se raisonner, nous avons ouvert un nouveau chapitre de notre projet : une prise de participation chez l'un de nos Makers historiques et stratégique, EQUIPAGE, notre producteur de pantalons. Le début d'une verticalisation rêvée et espérée, loin des acquisitions purement financières de grands groupes. Un rêve devenu réalité grâce à l'amitié qui lie les familles d'EQUIPAGE et de KANOA, et qui nous permet un plongeon au coeur même du savoir-faire que nous défendons avec passion.
Les valeurs familiales, profondément ancrées dans EQUIPAGE comme chez KA/NOA, se reflètent dans leur manière de travailler : respect des artisans, souci de la qualité et amour pour l'Italie et son patrimoine textile. Ce partenariat représente donc bien plus qu’une simple acquisition; c'est l’héritage d’une vision commune, inspirée par les générations passées et portée par le désir de transmettre des produits d'exception, conçus avec le plus grand soin et respect pour les traditions artisanales.

A Story of Trousers – A Story of Friendship!
In September 2024, KA/NOA celebrated its seventh anniversary. They say seven years is the age of reason, but rather than settling down, we decided to begin a new chapter in our journey: acquiring a stake in one of our long-time, strategic Makers, EQUIPAGE, our trusted trousers producer. This marks the first step towards our long-dreamed of and highly anticipated vertical integration, far from the purely financial acquisitions of big corporations. It's a dream come true, born from the friendship between the EQUIPAGE and KA/NOA families, enabling us to dive even deeper into the craftsmanship we passionately defend.
Family values, which are deeply embedded in both companies, shine through in their way of working: respect for artisans, a commitment to quality along with a love for Italy and its rich textile heritage. This partnership thus represents much more than a simple investment; it is the legacy of a shared vision, inspired by past generations and driven by a desire to create exceptional products, crafted with utmost care and reverence for artisanal traditions.

EQUIPAGE, 45 ans de savoir-faire au service des plus grandes marques
Fondé en 1979 par deux amis, Giuseppe Eva et Enore Violi, EQUIPAGE produit depuis 45 ans des pantalons haut-de-gamme pour les plus grandes marques sur les collines de Parme. Un véritable savoir-faire ancré dans la tradition sartoriale italienne. Niché dans le petit village de Terenzo, l'atelier compte une quarantaine d'employés, dont un grand nombre habitent aux alentours. Au-delà de la quête de la qualité, ce projet est également animé d'une responsabilité sociale.

Nestled in the scenic hills of Parma and founded in 1979 by two friends, Giuseppe Eva and Enore Violi, EQUIPAGE has been producing high-end trousers for some of the world’s most prestigious brands for 45 years. Endowed with genuine expertise rooted in the Italian sartorial tradition, the workshop is located in the quaint village of Terenzo and employs around 40 people, many of whom live nearby. Above and beyond its pursuit of excellence, this project is also driven by a deep sense of social responsibility.

Borgo Casale
Borgo Casale est un ancien hameau doté de chambres, d'un restaurant et d'un centre de bien-être. Niché entre les douces montagnes du Val di Taro, à la jonction de l'Émilie-Romagne, de la Toscane et de la Ligurie, Borgo Casale est un ancien groupe d'habitations datant du XVe siècle. Les maisons et les bâtiments du hameau étaient autrefois la propriété de familles d'agriculteurs et un lieu d'hospitalité pour les voyageurs. Aujourd'hui, l'ancien hameau, entièrement restauré, renaît en tant que lieu de bien-être pour le corps et l'esprit.
Borgo Casale is an ancient hamlet with rooms, restaurant and wellness center. Nestled between the gentle mountains of the Val di Taro, where Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Liguria meet, Borgo Casale is an ancient cluster of dwellings dating back to the 15th century. The houses and buildings of the hamlet were once the property of farming families and a place of hospitality for wayfarers. Today, the ancient village, completely restored, is reborn as a place of well-being for body and mind.
Agriturismo il Fagiano
Situé sur un plateau près de Selva Castello, cet agriturisme offre une vue magnifique sur les montagnes de la vallée du Taro et dispose d’une belle piscine. Entouré de champs, ce lieu est tenu par une famille, dont le père raconte volontiers la transition.
La cuisine respecte les traditions locales tout en ajoutant une touche créative, avec des portions généreuses et une ambiance conviviale dans une salle qui conserve des éléments de l’ancienne étable.
