2021 off to a flying start… or almost!
So, was 2020 a year to forget? Not necessarily, although it was definitely a year brimming with challenges. For a start-up brand like ours, it was also a year that brought a wealth of different experiences, leading us to question ourselves, innovate – as well as feeling certain doubts.
Faced with these difficulties, we attempted to move ahead while many others were pulling back, by undertaking initiatives including:
- Opening a permanent boutique in Geneva (Rue Verdaine 13) in June;
- Relocating the Zurich boutique in October (Rennweg 24)
- Opening our first franchise and first boutique outside of Switzerland in Toulouse at the end of October.
- Diversifying our activity with the development of a private label activity.
- Consolidating and professionalizing our team
These efforts enabled us to get through 2020 successfully, despite more than two months of closures of all our boutiques in Switzerland.
We thought we were past the worst, but 2021 has decided otherwise. With the closures since January 15 throughout Switzerland, new obstacles have appeared, and the enthusiasm we felt at the end of last year has naturally faded somewhat. Our optimism has been dented, yet despite this, we continue to press forward, refusing to let ourselves be overwhelmed by decisions that are often difficult to understand. Locking the door of the store doesn't mean shutting down the business, and nothing and no one can take away the passion that drives us – for you and thanks to you.

2020 - une année à oublier? pas si sûr. Ce fut certainement l'année de tous les défis. Pour une jeune marque comme la nôtre, ce fut également une année riche en expériences et qui nous a poussé à nous remettre en question, à innover, mais aussi à douter.
Face aux difficultés, nous avons tenté de faire un pas en avant alors que tant d'autres faisaient un pas en arrière:
- Ouverture d'une boutique pérenne à Genève (rue Verdaine 13) en juin;
- Déménagement de la boutique de Zurich en octobre (Rennweg 24)
- Ouverture de notre première franchise et première boutique hors de Suisse à Toulouse fin octobre
- Diversification de notre activité avec le développement d'une activité de private label
- Consolidation et professionnalisation de notre team
Ces efforts nous ont permis de traverser cette année 2020 avec succès, malgré plus de 2 mois de fermeture de toutes nos boutiques en Suisse.
Nous pensions avoir passé le pire, mais 2021 en a décidé autrement. Fermés depuis le 15 janvier dans toute la Suisse, de nouveaux obstacles sont apparus, et notre enthousiasme de fin d'année s'est terni. Notre optimiste est mis à mal, mais malgré cela, nous continuons d'avancer, refusant de nous laisser abattre par des décisions souvent incompréhensibles. Une porte de magasin fermée à clé ne signifie pas mettre la clé sous la porte, et rien ni personne ne pourra nous enlever la passion qui nous anime. Pour vous et grâce à vous.

Ristorante d'Amedeo
Convivial place to enjoy the typical dishes of the territory of Emilia. Famous in town for the “passatelli pasta” and the boiled and roasted meat selection served straight from the trolley. In the centre of Modena, near the Museo Ferrari.
La Corte dei Sogni and Antika Moka restaurant
The Corte dei Sogni is a completely renovated manor house, with few private suites in an old Modenese villa. Comfortable, quiet and elegant environment. Amazing typical modenese breakfast. The same family owns the Antika Moka restaurant, one of the best restaurants in Modena. Typical osteria (old moka bar) since 1973, it's a place not to be missed!
